Raith has been gaining long experience in the field of micro- and nanotechnology for more than 25 years.Below you find the outline of Raith history pointed out by most important milestones. The future ...System solutions, automated sample handling and improving small scale production continues to be main focus of Raith development endeavour. 2009- Due to the last year's growth, Raith moved to its new head office in Dortmund, featuring more space for production and attractive demonstration facilities.
2008- Based on the success of the RAITH150, RAITH150-TWO was launched with better specifications and environment tolerant instrument cover.
2006- Introduction of ionLiNE - a novel focused ion beam instrument class for research and development
- ESCOSY Plus release 5.0 - a new dimension of CAD navigation
2005Product launch of versatile e_LiNE, an ultra high resolution electron beam lithography and nanoengineering workstation for turnkey operation 2004A professional support structure for Raith user group worldwide has successfully been implemented, including regular user group meetings, factory training courses, and a new customer support area accessible from the Raith website 2002- Raith and consortium of ten research and industrial partners join NanoFIB project partially funded by the European community to enhance the capabilities of FIB based nano fabrication instrumentation and processes
- New Raith Asia support centre opens in Hong Kong to provide full support for installations throughout Asia
2000- Raith delivers first RAITH50 unit, manpower is increased, hiring new staff for sales, services and customer support worldwide - 50 staff members now at headquarters in Dortmund
- New cleanroom environment "AVT" with RAITH150 and processing equipment
